We have been on vacation again, and like last year, we decided to make a river cruise – this time on the beautiful Rhône in southern France. Our ship was the MS Annabelle.

The route took us through some of the most picturesque and historic towns along the river: Lyon, Viviers, Trevaux, Avignon, Arles, and Macon. Each place had its own charm and character, from the vibrant streets of Lyon to the ancient Roman traces in Arles.

The weather was mixed – sometimes sunny, but also with cloudy skies and even some rain. Still, the scenery and atmosphere more than made up for it.

The ship was very comfortable, the food was excellent, and the crew was extremely friendly and hospitable. Once again, we really enjoyed the big advantage of a river cruise: you get to see many places without having to pack your suitcase every day.

I can recommend it.
